Performing an ICP Song Tonight, Oct.1, in Catch!

Tonight, October 1, 2011, I’ll be presenting a version of the ICP song “Halls of Illusions” along with Carmine Covelli and a posse of few other monsters as part of the Catch Performance Series at the Bushwick Starr.

It’s a song where horrible people get to see what the world would be like if they weren’t around ruining everything.

I’m trying out making versions of ICP songs using samples from this playlist I made of  male singers and musicians and songs about male emotions and/or masculine imagery that I’m calling the Robert Bly Mixtape.

More on the mixtape later.

My version of “Halls of Illusions” has a sample of a Cure song about forests.

I’m also trying out having a posse that wreaks havoc.

And face paint.

See you there!
